Irvine Company attracted a new legal tenant to the fox square tower in Los Angeles County’s premier office market.
barond miller signed the long-term lease to move its office across the street into 33,099 square feet at the office in 2121 Avenue des Stars in Century City. NAI Commercial Capital advertised the lease and represented the tenant. Rental terms were not disclosed.
Fox Plaza is a 34-story Class A office building with 768,000 square feet, plus a fitness center and restaurant. Miller Barondess will occupy space on the 26th floor and part of the 27th for his growing law firm. The new lease is an extension of its existing space at 1999 Avenue of Stars. The company will leave this property at the end of the year.

Office rental activity in Los Angeles stumbled out of the gate in 2022, and nearly a fifth of total inventory is vacant. But Century City was one of the bright spots and the best performing submarket. It is home to many of the top talent agencies, financiers and law firms that support the Hollywood entertainment machine. It has the highest average rental rates in the county at $6.29 per square foot per month.
