BLUIS Wins Gold Category Award at National Conference on Electronic Governance

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Land Use Intelligence System (BLUIS) won the Gold Category Award at the 24th National E-Governance Conference. Union Personnel Minister Jitendra Singh presented the award to Sanjeev Chopra, Additional Chief Secretary.

BLUIS is a 5T project implemented by the General Directorate of Administration and Public Complaints in collaboration with BDA, BMC and ORSAC. BLUIS was launched by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on July 8, 2020.

“The project uses cutting-edge technology, including satellite imagery and artificial intelligence, to protect valuable government land in the capital. BLUIS competed with 89 high-tech projects from central government and state agencies to emerge victorious, ”the state government said.

While complementing the Department and ORSAC for accomplishment, Chief Secretary Suresh Chnadra Mahapatra advised having more innovative technology applications to support rapid and informed decision making.
