Here, the most scenic journeys come to life through design, from the pastures and vineyards of northern Italy to the picturesque views of southern France and along the French Riviera. The Austrian Arlberg massif is visible on the classic train route to Venice and the design of the Mountains reflects the impressive mountain peaks still present. From land to water, The Lakes pattern reflects the beauty of many spectacular lakes crossed along the way, from Zurgersee in Switzerland to Lake Como in Italy.
